“We bought a cottage on a half acre plot in 2006 and it took us many years to renovate it. Finally in 2015, we were in a position to get the garden/field sorted and feel very lucky to have found McKeogh’s Landscapes as they did a fantastic job. Cathal visited us initially to talk over what we wanted and what would be possible to do while keeping the character of the country cottage . The place has been completely transformed and thanks to his design and the hard work of his team we now have a really beautiful space outside which everyone loves.
The project involved designing and creating a new garden and lawn, thinning out of border trees, a new driveway with kerbs, new gate, stone patio and paths and all associated groundworks and a pretty country cottage planted at the front. The existing boundary walls and little gate were restored and two sheds were also built.
We had total confidence in Cathal and his team from the beginning as they were all very professional, punctual and extremely well organised. Bad weather did not hamper progress. Numerous problems presented themselves over the course of the project and each time something cropped up Cathal found quick and effective solutions. We felt in the loop at all times as communication was excellent. I can honestly say that we experienced no stress thanks to the way in which everything was so well managed.
